Job Description
About Us:
STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionising the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop, and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost-effective — providing operators with a decisive edge in contested environments.
We are focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems — not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe, today.
Your mission:
We are looking for a highly resilient, pragmatic, and execution-driven Integration Manager to step directly into a fast-paced, complex environment to bring structure into chaos, bridging the gap between multiple engineering disciplines, hardware teams, and business objectives. This technical integration specialist will sit with hardware and embedded engineers to dissect dependencies and manage complex project lifecycles.
Responsibilities:
• Cross-Team System Integration: Drive the technical integration of complex systems across hardware, software, payload, and embedded teams, ensuring all moving parts align seamlessly.
• Dependency & Interface Management: Actively map, track, and resolve technical dependencies and critical interfaces, translate requirements between and across multiple engineering teams to prevent bottlenecks.
• Translate & Structure Requirements: Translate complex technical requirements between different engineering silos and business stakeholders, bringing process and structure to the development lifecycle.
• Execution-Driven Project Delivery: Hands-on management of complex technical projects from conception to execution, utilizing V-model development processes where applicable without sacrificing speed.
• Mirroring Leadership: Act as a strategic and operational counterpart, ensuring cross-functional organizational structure and driving rapid execution on the ground.
Qualifications:
• Technical Credibility: A strong background in Engineering, Technical Project/Program Management, or a related deep-tech field. You must be able to speak the language of hardware and software engineers natively.
• Domain Experience: Proven track record working within highly complex technical programs—ideally in defense, aviation, embedded systems, hardware, or payload integration.
• Process & Structure Champion: Demonstrated ability to introduce structure, best practices, and agile/V-model processes into chaotic, fast-moving environments.
• Language Skills: Full professional fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
• Mindset & Personality: Extremely hands-on and execution-oriented (doing, not just tracking). Highly resilient, pragmatic, and comfortable with ambiguity.
Nice to have:
• Experience navigating rapid-growth environments or deep-tech startups where roles evolve quickly.
• Experience with highly complex technical programs
