This internship is ideal for mechanical engineering students or master's students in other disciplines who have completed a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. The focus will be on AutoCAD and SolidWorks design for components and systems.
Under the guidance of experienced Mujin team members, the intern will have hands-on exposure to a variety of projects and tasks. This immersive experience will help interns develop practical skills, gain industry insights, and build a professional network.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed technical drawings and 3D models
Support the development of prototypes and testing of new designs
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback
Maintain and update design documentation and project files
Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a mechanical engineering program or a graduate program in another discipline with a completed bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Skills:
Experience with robotics or automation systems
