We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer to develop middleware software that connects Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) with medical testing equipment. This role combines software development with hardware integration and direct customer support in healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design and develop middleware applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies to facilitate communication between LIS and medical testing machines.
• Deployment & Infrastructure: Deploy applications on both cloud platforms and on-premise virtual machines, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• System Integration: Implement and manage network connections between laboratory software and medical equipment using industry-standard messaging protocols.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues, including system failures, connection problems, and performance bottlenecks.
• Customer Support: Provide technical support to clients, including handling escalated situations and maintaining professional relationships under pressure.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for deployments, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements:
Required Technical Qualifications:

• Programming: Solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, Java 17+, and Spring Boot framework.
• Database Management: Working knowledge of SQL, ORM concepts, and Hibernate framework.
• Frontend Development: Basic proficiency with AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Development Methodology: Comfort working in Agile/DevOps environments with collaborative development practices.

Preferred Technical Qualifications:

• Specialized Frameworks: Familiarity with Akka framework for concurrent and distributed systems.
• Healthcare Protocols: Understanding of healthcare messaging standards (HL7, ASTM).
• System Administration: Experience deploying Java web applications on Linux and Windows environments.
• Networking: Basic networking knowledge for troubleshooting connectivity issues.

• Client Management: Handle difficult situations and frustrated clients professionally.
• Communication: Explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
