Job Description
The Integration and Data Solutions Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting system integrations and data flows across the organisation. The role combines hands-on technical work with analytical problem solving. It involves building secure, reliable connections between systems (for example through Flowgear, APIs, and internal applications) while also supporting reporting and data analysis through Power BI.
Purpose of the role
To ensure that data moves accurately, securely, and efficiently between systems, and to support the business with clear, reliable reporting and data insights.
Key responsibilities
Systems integration
• Develop, maintain, and optimise integrations using Flowgear or similar middleware
• Write and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Python, or similar) to automate operational tasks
• Build and support APIs and data pipelines between internal and external systems
• Troubleshoot integration issues and work with vendors or partners where required
Data and analytics
• Support data transformation and reporting initiatives across departments
• Develop dashboards and reports in Power BI for internal teams and clients
• Assist with data modelling and ensure data quality and consistency
• Work with finance and operations teams to turn data into practical insights
Innovation and continuous improvement
• Research and evaluate new tools and methods for integration and analytics
• Identify opportunities for automation and improved data flow
• Contribute to ongoing IT strategy and process improvement work
Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience and skills
• 3–5 years’ experience in systems integration, scripting, or a related technical role
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or SQL
• Experience using Power BI or another business intelligence platform
• Understanding of APIs, JSON, and data structures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication skills, able to work with technical and non-technical colleagues
Work environment
A hands-on technical role with exposure to both integration engineering and data analytics.
Collaboration with IT, Finance, and Operations teams is central to the position.
