Advanced Integration Implementation:

• Application of HL7 (v2.x triggers: ADT, ORM, ORU, DFT; v3.x CDA) and FHIR (Resources, Profiles, Implementation Guides).
• Configuration of communication channels using standard protocols: TCP/IP (MLLP), HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP, and Web Services (SOAP & RESTful APIs).
• Implementation of security standards including SSL/TLS certificate management, VPN tunneling requirements, and authentication protocols (Basic Auth, OAuth 2.0).

Interface Development & Logic:

• Develop and implement interfaces using Dedalus tools, Mirth or Rhapsody focusing on filtering, transformation, and routing logic.
• Scripting complex transformation logic using JavaScript (or standard engine languages) to handle XML parsing, JSON manipulation, and database lookups.
• Error handling management: Design robust ACK/NACK feedback loops and alert notifications for failed messages.

Documentation & Testing:

• Development of specific artifacts including data dictionaries, mapping specifications (Source-to-Target documents), and validation plans.
• Perform Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) using tools like Postman, 7Edit, or HAPI TestPanel.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues using server logs, system dumps, and network capture tools (e.g., Wireshark/Tcpdump) when necessary.
