For this project you will be working on the simulation of satellite system for orbits. The larger team is working on the cloud implementation, you will be testing the platform itself.

What you'll do:
• Develop system and sub system verification matrices against system requirements
• Coordinate and participate in system level testing activities including test planning, execution and reporting
• Develop/maintain test cases, test beds required for various Test cases.

What you'll need to get the job done:
• 5-10 years of relevant experience (academic and professional combined)
• gRPC/gNMI or NETCONF experience for automated network device config
• JSON, JSON IETF, XML, and YAML, PROTO, and REST APIs for data exchange and automation workflows
• VMs: Kubernetes (POD) and Containers (Docker)
• The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods program (CGP).

What will make us REALLY love you:
• Traffic Generator such as Spirent / IXia, Test Center, tcpdump and iPerf
• Networking: Strong understanding of OSI-Layer, TCP, UDP, IP networking, routing protocols, and network optimization.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Python or Ansible for network automation, or scripting experience.
