Internship Program Summary

Are you a 2026 college graduate or rising college senior? AbelsonTaylor Group is looking for 9 Chicago area-based interns to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program, nextgenerATion.

Our internship program offers a rewarding experience that fosters creativity, collaboration, and inclusivity. You’ll collaborate with professionals across all levels, gaining hands-on experience to give you a competitive edge in your career. During the program, you’ll have the chance to engage with teams from various departments. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with fellow interns on an exciting, summer-long group project!

Integrated Production Intern

The Integrated Production Intern supports producers across all stages of production by helping manage schedules, coordinate cross-functional teams, and contribute to problem-solving on live-action and creative projects. This role offers hands-on exposure to the end-to-end production process, creative development, and collaboration on real client work, culminating in a portfolio-ready final intern project.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with producers to help manage schedules, liaising with cross functional teams, organizing resources and contributing to problem solving throughout production phases

• Assist producers throughout all production stages from pre-production (planning and scripting), production (shooting or recording), to post-production (editing, sound design and final delivery) to produce engaging content for audiences

• Support live-action, digital, and print productions through various tasks such as preparing and organizing equipment and documents, managing schedules, coordinating between departments and helping with administrative duties

• Gain exposure to the process of developing and enhancing conceptual creative ideas through delivery of a finished campaign asset

• Shadow producers as they work through complex projects and problem-solve challenging and unique requests

• Collaborate with your fellow interns on a comprehensive, final project that you can feature in your portfolio

Who You Are:

• An expected 2026 graduate, or a rising senior (graduating 2027).

• You are a dependable, self-motivated professional who thrives in a hybrid schedule, with optional remote work on Mondays and Fridays, and required on-site presence in our Chicago office Tuesdays through Thursdays.

• A passionate, independent, and aesthetically aware problem-solver—who knows what works artistically and is not afraid to make it happen

• Curious about the world around you and about visual composition in particular

• Experienced or interested in media production across various formats through all stages from pre-production through post.

• A champion of diversity and an inclusive culture, who uses cultural competence to propel agency and client business forward

Compensation Range: Hourly compensation ranges from $18.00 for rising seniors to $20.00 for upcoming graduates. The company reserves the right to adjust this compensation at any time.
