The Pinterest Business Marketing team is composed of highly skilled marketing generalists, able to flex with equal strength among marketing strategy, copywriting, project management, cross-functional team leadership, event planning and creative oversight. Most importantly, we are business marketers, able to capture hearts and minds with engaging, inspirational work that drives business impact. Expect to grow quickly, pivot often and learn a lot.

In this role, you will partner closely with the Head of Business Marketing in Japan and cross-functional partners to gain hands-on experience delivering and executing on marketing strategy that supports revenue goals and brand visibility within the industry.

What you’ll do:

• Partner with Business Marketing leadership to bring the local market strategy to life, leveraging best practices, learnings, industry trends and insights on both Pinterest and competitors

• Own key initiatives to bring the strategy to life, such as Pinterest-owned or third party events, webinars, partnerships, success story creation etc

• Work closely with local and global teams to ensure that global programs resonate locally

• Manage the measurement of local marketing activations and identify areas for improvement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, measurement and the wider marketing team

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years experience in integrated marketing and/or digital marketing, B2B marketing experience is a plus

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining operational excellence in project management

• Fluency in written and spoken Japanese and English

• Passion for digital marketing and a desire to grow and develop within the field

• Familiarity with social media platforms and their advertising capabilities, with a specific focus on Pinterest (prior experience a plus)

• Basic analytical skills, with the ability to learn how to analyse data and derive actionable insights

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent work experience

In-Office Requirement Statement

• We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.

• This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from the Tokyo office.
