Typical Accountabilities: • Supports the delivery of high quality drug metabolism studies by managing an aspect of the project within own specialist area • Has a significant impact on the quality of the project by providing specialised technical knowledge, interpreting experimental data and solving problems with innovative solutions • Delivers high quality work within own specialised area by independently directing and performing research experiments in line with broader projects. (how many countries will the role operate in?): • Own country Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience: • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline; Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and the drug development process; A well developed understanding of the drug metabolism processes and pharmacokinetcs • Desirable: Advanced degree within a related field Key Relationship to reach solutions: • Internal (to AZ or team): Members of all functions on project team; Members from development • External (to AZ): External service providers; Regulatory bodies Compensation Pay Range: 109,912.80 - 164,869.20 USD Annual The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position is outlined above. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
