Who we are looking for
We are looking for Integrated Audit Data Analyst, Vice President to join the Corporate Audit Team. Corporate Audit conducts internal audits of all of State Street’s business lines, including Finance, Accounting, HR, Legal, and Custody. In this role, you will serve as a senior analytics and technology leader, responsible for defining and advancing the use of data analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance audit execution, technology risk coverage, and enterprise insight. You will be part of the Data Analytics team and work with the business audit team to design data-driven test approaches in audit projects and analyze the results of data analytic control tests to identify potential control weaknesses. You will also play a role in the onboarding and coaching of junior staff and support various departmental initiatives.
The role will be performed in hybrid model, 4 days on site 1 day remote from Bangalore or Pune, India.

What you will be responsible for
As an Integrated Data Analyst, Vice President you will:
Strategy & Leadership
• Help lead and execute the advanced analytics & AI strategy for Corporate Audit, aligned to audit methodology, technology risk priorities, and enterprise data initiatives
• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to analytics professionals supporting audit and technology risk activities
• Establish standards, governance, and best practices for the use of analytics, AI, and automation within audit
Analytics Enablement & Oversight
• Oversee the design and execution of analytics‑driven audit approaches, including:
• Technology and application controls
• Data integrity and system‑enabled processes
• Continuous auditing and monitoring use cases
• AI & data science testing approaches.
• Ensure analytics solutions are scalable, repeatable, and integrated into audit planning and execution
• Review and challenge analytics outputs to ensure quality, relevance, and appropriate risk coverage
Technology & Data Partnership
• Serve as a senior partner to Technology and Business teams to align on systems, data availability, and tooling
• Guide the effective use of analytics platforms and tools (e.g., SQL, Python, visualization tools, automation platforms, AI/ML solutions)
• Support major technology and transformation initiatives by embedding analytics and insight into audit coverage and assurance activities
Executive Communication & Influence
• Translate complex technical and analytics findings into clear, executive‑level insights for senior management and governance forums
• Advise audit leadership on emerging technology risks, data trends, and opportunities for enhanced assurance
• Influence stakeholders through fact‑based insights, professional judgment, and strategic perspective

• Proven ability to research, interpret and apply regulatory requirements.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
• 10+ years of total experience in the financial services or technology, including 6+ years of experience in Internal Audit.
• Professional experience and/or a degree related to the use of data science and analytics
• Technical data analytics skills, including the use of SQL, Python, R, Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, and other analytics and automation tools.
• Experience in applying AI, data science and machine learning models in audit.
• Technical expertise with big data is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, computer science or related fields.
• Advanced degree or certification (CFA, FRM, CPA, CIA) preferrable.
• Technical expertise with Databricks is preferrable.
• Experience in auditing information technology general controls.
