Overview
HOPE Community Services, Inc. is a leading outpatient treatment provider in south Oklahoma City. We provide compassionate trauma-informed care to individuals whose lives have been impacted by mental health and substance use disorders. We do this by providing compassionate and evidence-based treatment, aimed at improving the quality of life for those we serve.
We are currently seeking a Therapeutic Counselor for the Access/Intake Program. This role focuses on providing screenings, intakes, clinical assessments, crisis intervention, and referrals. It is ideal for professionals dedicated to creating a welcoming, recovery-focused environment for individuals starting their behavioral health journey.
About the Position
As a Therapeutic Counselor in the Access/Intake Program, you will provide initial therapeutic services to individuals entering care at HOPE. This includes conducting assessments, planning treatment, and offering crisis intervention. You will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth transition into appropriate services by collaborating with other programs and advocating for client needs.
This role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, providing trauma-informed care, and adhering to agency policies and procedures.
About Access/Intake
The Access/Intake Program is the gateway to services at HOPE. It focuses on welcoming individuals seeking behavioral health and co-occurring disorder treatment, ensuring they receive the appropriate care and resources. The program emphasizes trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and culturally competent services.
Requirements
Current license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LADC) in Oklahoma or working under licensure supervision.
Experience with clinical assessments, crisis intervention, and intake services.
Skills
Strong organizational and clinical documentation skills.
Ability to provide individual therapy and crisis intervention.
Experience working collaboratively in a trauma-informed and culturally competent environment.
Additional Requirements
May require DMHSAS Case Management Certification, First Aid, CPR, and Therapeutic Options training.
