Job Description: We are seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to join our central team and ensure patients have a smooth experience with insurance interactions at our clinics. This role focuses on confirming insurance coverage and verifying provider network status.
Responsibilities:
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits to ensure plans are active.
• Confirm providers are in-network with the patient’s insurance.
• Verify coverage for home visits and in-office visits via phone or online.
• Communicate with clinics, insurance companies, and patients to gather updated information.
• Accurately document verified benefits in patient records.
• Respond to insurance-related inquiries from internal teams.
Requirements:
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Ability to operate multiple software systems simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferred: 1+ year experience in U.S. healthcare or insurance.
