Position Objective: The major responsibility of this role is to consistently teach and model what it means to think in a Christ-like way before his/her students and additionally, provide instructional support to classroom teachers and Student Academic Service team. This will be completed through a Biblical worldview to guide the students into becoming developed, mature and responsible believers to the glory of God.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or its equivalent required.
Associate’s degree in a related field preferred or at least 2 years of experience in a similar field.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
Communicates clearly and effectively with students, teachers, and parents to support learning and collaboration.
Adapts easily to work with students across all grade levels (Preschool through 8th Grade) and varying abilities.
Collaborates with teachers and staff to reinforce lesson plans and support overall classroom goals.
Assists in managing student behavior by reinforcing school-wide core values and expectations.
Maintains a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where all students feel supported and valued.
Major Responsibilities:
Implement the teacher's provided lesson plans to reteach a concept or lesson to an individual student or a small group.
Support assigned students by implementing their individualized plans as trained and directed by the teacher.
Effectively engages students in lessons by promoting meaningful participation and interactive discussions.
Supports students with academic assistance in small groups or individually as required.
Consistently monitor, collect, and analyze individualized data to support student growth in academic, and social areas.
Assist with lesson preparation by creating demonstrations, copying materials, and supplying visual supports as directed by the teacher.
Supervises students during lunch, recess, bathroom breaks, hallways, field trips, and carline as assigned.
Ensure students can access the resources they need.
Check students backpacks upon arrival and dismissal to ensure assignments are submitted and required materials for learning are present.
Maintain strict confidentiality for all students enrolled in the school.
Support teachers and communicate with them regularly as scheduled.
Complete miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as needed to contribute to the position's goals.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Ability to remain stationary for long periods while working on a computer and move supplies (up to 35 lbs).
Assist children as needed for health and safety.
Indoor classroom setting with potential exposure to temperature changes, noise, and exterior windows when crossing campuses.
