About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Installation Manager to lead our exhibition installation and breakdown operations. In this dynamic role, you will oversee all on-site and in-house construction projects, manage and motivate installation crews, and serve as a key point of contact for clients. You will ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

🔍 What You’ll Do
Lead installation and breakdown of exhibition stands, frames, screens, technology mounts, and other elements.
Manage on-site coordination of labour and installation crews, ensuring smooth project execution.
Provide hands-on support and supervision during installations and factory/warehouse construction.
Train new crew members in installation techniques and ongoing safety protocols.
Maintain high team motivation, satisfaction, and performance levels.
Collaborate with Project Managers and designers to schedule installations and attend pre-construction meetings.
Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure safe systems of work.
Review design concepts and provide feedback on construction feasibility.
Manage deliveries and collections, notifying relevant parties.
Report warranty issues, trouble tickets, and back charges to PMs and billing.
Ensure quality installation, operation, and service of all products.
Identify cost-effective building methods and innovative solutions.
Check all packed stand elements for completeness (frames, fittings, furniture, flooring, infills).
Perform post-installation inspections and photo documentation.
Maintain inventory storage and report stock shortfalls.
Complete admin duties including timesheets, budget tracking, and checklists.
✅ What You Bring
5+ years of experience in exhibition stand construction or a similar trade.
Strong understanding of exhibition fabrication and installation processes.
Ability to read construction drawings and interpret exhibition floorplans and show manuals.
Knowledge of rigging and other site services.
Own tools.
Valid Forklift License.
EWP License (preferred).
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
