We are seeking an experienced Inspector – Water/Wastewater to oversee critical construction activities. This role involves ensuring compliance, quality, and safety across major infrastructure works. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise construction of sewer pump station excavation and concrete works.
• Oversee large trunk sewer installations via open trench construction.
• Monitor tunnelling operations and provide technical input where required.
• Manage challenges related to hard rock excavation, contaminated soils, and dewatering/water treatment processes.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed progress reports.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and environmental requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We’re looking for:

• Proven experience in water and sewer construction supervision.
• Knowledge of tunnelling techniques and associated safety protocols.
• Familiarity with handling hard rock, contaminated soils, and water treatment systems.
• Excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Strong understanding of construction standards and compliance requirements.
• Contract management experience or knowledge (advantageous but not essential).
• Ability to communicate effectively with contractors and stakeholders.
