Job Description

As an Insight Manager you will play a crucial role in leading the insight team to drive the development and execution of data-driven strategies across the organisation.

This managerial position is responsible for ensuring that insights generated from data analyses are effectively translated into actionable strategies that support client objectives and enhance operational efficiency.

You will collaborate closely with department heads to integrate insights into business strategies, whilst managing a team of data analysts, ensuring their growth, productivity, and alignment with business goals. You will also interface with clients to understand their needs and tailor insights and reporting to their business contexts.

Team Leadership and Project Management:

Leads the insights team, setting clear goals and managing project timelines.

Ensures that all projects are delivered with high quality and actionable insights.

Develops project plans that effectively allocate resources and timelines.

Data Strategy Development:

Develops strategies for data collection, analysis, and utilisation across the organisation.

Ensures that data strategies are innovative and align with current and future business needs.

Insight Translation and Implementation:

Translates complex data findings into understandable and actionable business strategies.

Works with department heads to implement these strategies, measuring impact and adjusting as necessary.

Training and Development:

Provides training and development opportunities for the insights team.

Encourages continuous learning and adoption of new tools and techniques in data analysis and insights generation

Proven experience in a data-driven role with managerial responsibilities.

Confident understanding of data analysis techniques and tools, such as SQL, PowerBi, Excel.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence at all levels and bridge the gap between technical and strategic application.

Proven track record in leading teams and executing projects that have positively impacted the business.

Strategic thinker with a great business acumen.

Capable of making decisions based on data.

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field or Undergraduate with relevant experience is preferred.

Leadership Excellence: Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities, motivating and guiding teams towards achieving strategic objectives.

Strategic Influence: Effectively communicates the importance of data-driven decision-making and influences strategic business plans.
