The Insider Threat Monitoring Lead develops and operates insider threat detection and mitigation programs to protect CBP systems, personnel, and sensitive information.

This role is for trusted professionals ready to protect organizations from risks that come from within. As the Insider Threat Monitoring Lead, you’ll design and operate programs that detect behavioral and technical indicators of insider risk, helping safeguard sensitive systems, data, and personnel. You’ll work at the intersection of cybersecurity, analytics, and policy—making a meaningful impact on organizational resilience and trust.

What You'll Do::
• Operate insider threat monitoring and detection capabilities

• Analyze behavioral and technical risk indicators

• Identify, assess, and mitigate insider risk

• Ensure compliance with Federal insider threat policies

• Produce threat assessments and intelligence reports

What You Have::
• US Citizenship is Required

• 5+ years of insider threat or counterintelligence experience

• Expertise in security analytics and monitoring tools

• Knowledge of NISPOM, EO 13587, and insider threat standards

• CISSP certification required

• TS (SCI‑eligible) clearance
