We are seeking a strong Inside Sales Agent to engage with our clients' existing database of approximately 7,500 contacts. This role is focused on outbound calling, relationship building, and identifying mortgage or financing-related needs. You will act as the first point of contact, updating records, asking the right questions, and routing qualified opportunities to licensed mortgage agents in our Canadian offices.

This is not cold prospecting; you’ll be calling people who are already in our database.

Key Responsibilities

• This person won't handle the end-to-end sales process. They will pass along to mortgage agents
• Call and re-engage Spire’s existing contact database regularly (every 6 months)
• Ask structured questions related to mortgages, financing, and real estate needs
• Update and maintain accurate contact and conversation details in the CRM
• Identify opportunities and smoothly hand off interested contacts to mortgage agents
• Ensure a professional, clear, and helpful experience on every call
• Follow call scripts and workflows while adapting naturally to conversations
• Occasionally participate in evening call blocks (e.g., 4:00–9:00 PM MST), if needed


Requirements:
• Proven experience in inside sales, outbound calling, or similar phone-based roles
• Experience using HubSpot. Also experience managing contact databases and working with a CRM.
• Background in real estate, mortgages, or financial services.
• Experience working with North American clients
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills
• Comfortable spending most of the day on calls
• High attention to detail when updating records and logging conversations
• Ability to follow processes while thinking critically during conversations
• Comfortable working 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST
