Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving lead generation and opportunity creation to support the company’s sales growth objectives. This role focuses on proactive outbound calling, qualifying potential clients, managing leads within the CRM system, and converting prospects into sales opportunities for the outbound sales team. The position plays a critical role in strengthening the company’s sales pipeline and expanding its market presence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails.
• Route qualified opportunities to the sales team for further development and closure.
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to achieve quotas.
• Conduct high-volume cold calling (40–50 calls/day) for lead generation and qualification.
• Build leads from scratch as well as manage existing databases; part of evaluation.
• Focus purely on pre-sales activities (SDR/BDR); closing deals is handled by the sales team.
• Manage and track leads and opportunities using SugarCRM and 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
• Sell SOLIDWORKS software, targeting SMEs, multinational, and engineering/design clients.
• Initially cover all industries; may be assigned to Visayas/Mindanao in the future if Bisaya-speaking.
• Contribute to weekly performance metrics, primarily lead-to-opportunity conversion rate (quota based on # of conversions).
• Support career progression from Inside Sales → Outbound Sales → Account Manager.
Requirements:
• Proficient in handling CRM.
• Has excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Hardworking and competent, with pleasing and good working ethics.
• Very knowledgeable or enthusiastic about technology.
• Willing to work full-time in Makati City.
• Educational background: Marketing, IT, or related field; fresh graduates considered if they have reliable resumes.
• Experience: 1–2 years preferred in selling IT/software-related products.
• Strong client relationship and persuasive sales skills.
• Reliable, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
• Open to career development and promotion into outbound sales and account management.
• Comfortable working in a small team and collaborative environment.
