Job Description
Rexa, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to provide technical and customer service support to Rexa channel partners and customers directly in the W/WW sector. The incumbent will create complete quote proposals and supporting documentation and act as the voice of the customer to the factory for expediting and for complaint requests.
Responsibilities
Evaluate raw data (specifications, datasheets, drawings, photos, etc.) provided by customers to size and select the optimal actuator for the application.
Create quote packages for sales force and customers following REXA’s quote process guidelines.
Search, review, mark up, provide reference drawings/schematics as requested, or, if none available, co-ordinate with Engineering to provide drawings of the proposed actuators.
Manage phone calls and emails for technical assistance. Answer questions regarding the proper actuator sizing, operations, and control schemes available.
Review new orders following REXA’s order process guidelines and clarify the requirements with the customer or channel partner who sent in the order, ensuring the options selected are correct in relation to customer requirements. Clarify with the customer if there are any discrepancies identified.
Organize and coordinate transfer of information from Sales to Engineering to ensure that all design details are included to meet customer specs in full. Resolve any technical issues to ensure successful completion of jobs.
Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to accommodate requests for expediting jobs
Participate in customer and channel partner training classes or trade shows when required.
Education and Experience
3-5 years of experience creating technical quotes
3-5 year experience in a manufacturing environment
Industrial automation environment highly preferred
Knowledge and skills
Basic knowledge of control valves, actuation, and the process control industry
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
Excellent communication skills with the ability to “build relationships” with customers to drive high customer satisfaction
Microsoft office proficiency
Strong organization and time management skills with flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently, set priorities, and multitask.
Working conditions:
Office environment with some exposure to manufacturing activity. No strenuous physical work. Strict compliance with company safety policies. Occasional travel may be required.
Pay Range: $60,400 - $90,600
