Injection Mold Operator

Position Summary

In support of the Mission, Vision and Values of SyBridge Technologies Group of Companies, the Injection Mold Operator will be responsible and play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy in operating injection molding machines, packing finished product into shipping cartons, bulk packs, or other containers according to the company protocol and expectations. You will work in a team environment interacting with fellow packers, trainers, supervisors, and the quality team.

12 hours shifts: Week 1 – work 3 days have off 4 days & Week 2 - work 4 days have off 3 days, shifts include every other weekend requirement)

Day Shift: 7:00am to 7:30pm

Key Responsibilities

Operate injection molding machines to produce specified product to quality and relieve other operators as required using defined set-up sheets
Inspect production for visual defects; utilize manual gauges or other instruments to inspect or sort molded product
Remove molded parts from machines assuring standard cycle is met and all parts are cleared from tooling after each cycle
Perform other related tasks as outlined by the Shift Supervisor, General Manager or assigned representative
Ensure that the production floor is properly cleaned, maintained, and organized
Correctly fill out related quality records whether hard copy or electronically
Perform other related duties as required and willingness to work overtime when needed
Ability to recognize issues and diagnose for quick resolution, maintain quality standards, and produce product per production schedules and deadlines

Qualifications

Good organization and communication skills
Light computer skills
High School diploma or equivalent
1+ years of previous molding responsibilities in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

Requires walking, and on your feet for most of the day.

Lifting as required up to 50 pounds on occasion.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision.

May need to climb stairs/steps periodically.

May need to reach above shoulder heights and below the waist.

Noise levels and temperatures may vary due to areas accessed.

There is some exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals.

Protective gear such as ear plugs, masks, gloves, safety glasses, etc. may be required in specific areas or duties.
