We are seeking a Supply Chain Engineer (M/F) to join our dynamic team in the transportation sector.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and select sourcing suppliers based on quality, cost, and lead time criteria.
• Negotiate manufacturing and delivery timelines.
• Manage inventory and anticipate procurement needs using SAP.
• Collaborate closely with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflows.
• Monitor and follow up on orders until receipt of purchased parts, ensuring full traceability.
• Track and analyze performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the supply chain.
• Provide activity reports to management.
• Participate in supplier panel meetings to align expectations regarding cost, lead time, quality, and customer satisfaction (internal and external).
• Master’s degree (BAC+5 or equivalent).
• Prior experience in supply chain within the transportation sector (aerospace, automotive, etc.).
• Proficiency in English and German
• Strong knowledge of SAP, Power BI
• Willingness to relocate to Germany
• Eligibility to the VIE program
