Infrastructure Senior Project/Programme Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term

Infrastructure Senior Project Manager – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract - Remote with travel required as and when needed (not extensive)

Telefónica Tech is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Senior Project/Programme Manager to deliver a major portfolio of infrastructure and technology transformation programmes over a 12-month fixed term contract. You’ll lead large, multi-stream initiatives that modernise our tech environment and drive real organisational change. 

What you’ll do

• Oversight: Manage a diverse portfolio of complex infrastructure projects, which will include, but not be limited to: Cloud Transformation/Migration initiatives, Legacy Infrastructure Decommissioning, Domain Consolidation and Infrastructure Modernization, Identity and Privileged access management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex infrastructure projects across cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation, legacy decommissioning, domain consolidation, and identity/privileged access management.

• Define programme strategy, scope, governance, and benefits realisation plans.

• Manage programme budgets, financial forecasting, risks, dependencies, and reporting.

• Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers, ensuring quality and delivery milestones are met.

• Partner with Architecture, Security, Operations, and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery.

• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, providing clear and timely updates.

 

What you’ll bring

• Significant experience delivering multi-stream infrastructure or technology projects.

• Strong track record in cloud transformation, migration, or major infrastructure modernisation.

• Expertise in project governance, PMO processes, risk management, and financial control.

• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and Project Managers.

• Excellent communication and influencing skills at executive level.

• MSP / PMP / Agile knowledge or certifications highly desirable.
