Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineering leader with deep expertise in the Snowflake Data Platform to drive technology strategy, product roadmap alignment, and enterprise-scale solutioning. This role sits at the intersection of cloud engineering, product management, product security and client-facing solution architecture, with a primary focus on defining and executing the roadmap for Snowflake enablement across the organization.
The successful candidate will partner closely with internal engineering teams, architects, product leaders, and external clients to ensure Snowflake-based solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with both business objectives and emerging technology trends.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Platform Strategy
• Own and define the Cloud Platform Engineering roadmap for the Snowflake data platform, aligning it with broader enterprise and business product strategies.
• Partner with Product Management to ensure cloud engineering capabilities, tooling, and enablement plans are aligned with current and future product roadmaps.
• Translate business and product requirements into scalable Snowflake platform capabilities and engineering priorities.
Snowflake Technology Enablement
• Lead Snowflake platform enablement, including architecture standards, best practices, reference designs, and reusable patterns.
• Stay current on Snowflake features, ecosystem integrations, and upcoming technologies, proactively incorporating them into the platform strategy.
• Drive adoption of Snowflake capabilities such as data sharing, governance, performance optimization, security, and cost management.
• Drive adoption through Proof- of-Concept state all the way to production ready platforms.
Solution Architecture & Engineering Collaboration
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and solution architects to design and review Snowflake-based solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance for complex solutioning, performance tuning, and architectural decision-making.
• Influence engineering standards, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native design principles related to data platforms.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
• Engage with clients on as needed basis and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and design Snowflake-based solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Act as a trusted advisor in client discussions, solution workshops, and technology roadmap conversations.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Serve as a bridge between Cloud Platform Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Business teams.
• Provide thought leadership on cloud data platform strategy, operating models, and platform governance.
Required Qualifications
Experience & Technical Skills
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud engineering organization, data platform engineering, or solution architecture roles.
• Proven, hands-on experience with the Snowflake Data Platform in enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native data architectures.
• Experience influencing or owning platform/product roadmaps in partnership with Product Management.
• Solid background in data engineering concepts, performance optimization, security, and governance.
Soft Skills & Leadership Capabilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and client levels.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across engineering, product, architecture, and business teams.
• Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, execution-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders.
• Proven ability to mentor, coach, and inspire high-performing technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Financial Services industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting regulated environments with strong data security, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Prior experience in customer-facing or consulting roles is a plus.

• Increased adoption and effective use of Snowflake capabilities across engineering and client solutions.
• Strong partnerships with Product, Architecture, and Client teams, resulting in scalable, future-ready data solutions.
• Recognition as a trusted technology and platform leader within the organization.
Salary Range:
$90,000 - $157,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
