• Oversee containerized application hosting, infrastructure capacity planning, and platform scalability.
• Manage batch processing workloads and scheduled updates within containerized and hybrid infrastructure landscapes.
• Ensure seamless integration and operational stability across applications, infrastructure, and platform services.
• Drive standardization and automation for deployments, upgrades, and operational runbooks.
• Partner with application teams to enable reliable, secure, and performant workloads on Kubernetes.
• Own end-to-end patch management processes, including post-patch vulnerability validation and remediation.
• Lead ongoing infrastructure patch maintenance covering OS, container runtime, Kubernetes, and OpenShift components.
• Proactively manage hardware, security, and platform vulnerabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise security policies and regulatory expectations.
• Act as the primary escalation point for infra-related security incidents and audit findings.
• Provide oversight on infrastructure cost management, capacity utilization, and financial optimization.
• Support balance sheet governance through effective asset lifecycle management, cost controls, and infrastructure investment planning.
• Act as the key liaison with infrastructure counterparts across the organization, with a strong emphasis on coordination with GIPS teams.
• Drive alignment across internal infra, security, and operations teams to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Manage vendor relationships related to platform, hardware, and tooling support.
• Ensure infrastructure operations adhere to enterprise standards, risk controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency, resilience improvement, and technology uplift within the container and infrastructure stack.
• Contribute to infrastructure roadmaps and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
• Proven experience leading enterprise infrastructure platforms, with deep expertise in OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of container orchestration, platform lifecycle management, and batch workload handling.
• Demonstrated experience in patch management, security vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure risk management.
• Solid understanding of hardware, OS, container, and platform-level vulnerabilities.
• Experience working in regulated or large financial services environments is highly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising across regional or group infrastructure teams.
• Financial acumen with exposure to infrastructure cost management and balance sheet considerations.
