Platform IaC Engineer II Location: Richardson, TX (Onsite)

Overview

We are seeking a Platform IaC Engineer II to support the development and maintenance of modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions within a hybrid-cloud enterprise environment.

This role supports a large-scale program delivering a critical national asset, working across servers, storage, networks, and custom hardware. The position includes a mix of hands-on engineering, automation, and documentation.

This role is onsite in Richardson, TX, with occasional travel to customer sites for upgrades and implementation.

What You Will Do

• Support deployment, implementation, modernization, and maintenance of IaC solutions

• Customize and automate software tools using:

• Ansible Playbooks

• Templates, dashboards, and scripts

• Assist with containerization and orchestration:

• Kubernetes

• Docker

• Support design, development, and optimization of build/test pipelines

• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration across:

• On-prem environments

• Virtualized/cloud environments

• Assist engineers with tool usage, troubleshooting, and best practices

• Maintain and support COTS/FOSS products within the platform

Core Technologies / Environment

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible

• Systems: RHEL (Linux), LDAP

• Security/Monitoring: Tenable

• Service Networking: Consul

• Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker

• Hybrid Cloud / Enterprise Infrastructure

Qualifications – Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Physics, or related)

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience

• Experience with:

• Cloud / Infrastructure / Platform Engineering

• Containerization and Microservices

• Integration and platform environments

• Experience with Linux System Administration (RHEL 0+)

• Experience with Ansible automation frameworks

· Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (required Day 1)

• US. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)

• Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as:

• Jira / Jira Service Management

• Confluence

• Bitbucket

• Jenkins

• Artifactory

• Experience with programming/scripting languages:

• Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go

• Experience with:

• PostgreSQL

• SonarQube

• General knowledge of:

• Networking

• Storage

• Virtualization

• Experience with COTS/FOSS installation, configuration, and integration
