THE WORK::
• Oversee all aspects of Public-Private Partnership (P3) transportation infrastructure projects, including capital planning, cost/benefit analysis, financial reporting to stakeholders, and ensuring effective budget management.
• Manage multiple P3 transportation infrastructure projects, handling budget, schedules, and stakeholder communications, while providing technical direction to design firms, consultants, and contractors and ensuring smooth information flow across all parties involved.
• Collaborate with client project administration, A/E design teams, and the P3 consortia/general contractor to ensure compliance with contracts, plans, specifications, and state and federal safety and environmental regulations.
• Develop contracting strategies, manage A/E selection, oversee construction bidding, negotiate terms, and administer contracts in alignment with the specific needs of complex mega transportation projects.
• Provide technical oversight, review emerging technologies, and offer guidance on project and construction management, including planning, organizing, and reporting on program sustainability, maintenance, and operations.
• Lead program closeout phases, ensuring knowledge transfer across the organization to improve future program execution for complex mega transportation projects.
• TRAVEL: Approximately one trip a month for on-site client visits, conferences, and business development activities to an unanticipated location within the West, Southwest and Southeast Regions.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED::
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related. Employer will accept advanced degree in the same field
• 60 months of experience in job offered, Project Manager, Associate Project Manager, Project Engineer, Civil Engineer, Trainee Civil Engineer, Junior Civil Engineer, Assistant Civil Engineer, or closely related
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE::
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of complex mega transportation projects such as highways, bridges, buildings, and water projects including the completion and financial outcome of the project
• Use alternative project delivery methods such as Public Private Partnership (P3), Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC), Progressive Design Build, and Design Build to manage complex mega transportation projects to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, control costs, and drive innovation
• Experience in all aspects of project documentation, including bidding procedures, start-up and close-out procedures, contractual obligations, commercial terms, submittals, RFI’s, change order procedures, and project reporting
• Develop, update, review, and maintain project budgets, to ensure budgets are adhered to and prevent overruns
• Support business development activities by assisting in the bidding process for new projects and developing bid documents for highway contracts
• Lead and coordinate specialized construction tasks, including drainage systems, barriers and guardrails, intelligent transportation systems, lighting, and bridges
• Organize projects in a logical sequence and efficiently allocate time using Primavera P6 CPM/MS Project.
• Conduct research on government subsidies and grants to support the initiation of new projects in the renewable energy sector
