THE WORK::
• You’ll develop, review, and maintain a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) dictionary and schedules for assigned major and/or multi‑year projects and/or programs throughout the lifecycle and development phases (gates), using input from multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• You’ll document and update schedule tenets and assumptions, including scheduling methodology used (e.g., CPM, PERT) and schedule details, ensuring consistency with department standards and project or program requirements.
• You’ll ensure schedules contain accurate scope with sufficient levels of detail as projects and/or programs progress through development phases and are resource‑ and cost‑loaded to support budget, forecast, and expenditure/resource plans.
• You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, disciplines, and stakeholders to define activities, durations, and logical relationships within project schedules.
• You’ll be responsible for overall schedule tracking, monitoring, and reporting to ensure major and/or multi‑year projects and/or programs are completed on schedule.
• You’ll gather, update, and analyze schedule data to measure and report progress, including earned value and schedule performance index, explain schedule variance against approved baselines, perform look‑ahead planning, and forecast project completion.
• You’ll perform complex and detailed scheduling research and analysis, including what‑if scenarios and schedule impact analysis, to support sound decision‑making.
• You’ll prepare and present results, alternatives, and recommendations to manage project schedules, support business decisions, and mitigate potential project or program risks.
• You’ll support change control and contract negotiation and claim management, including performance implementation, analysis, and reporting using SCE or industry metrics such as earned value management.
• You’ll collaborate with stakeholders and apply estimating, cost management, and scheduling knowledge, techniques, and tools to determine and communicate scheduling results.
• You’ll prepare project controls data request responses and supporting work papers for corporate and OU governance activities, internal and external audits, General Rate Cases, and regulatory filings.
• You’ll assess customer needs and determine recommended approaches to resolve matters of significance by applying prescribed procedures or determining which procedures are appropriate.
• You’ll provide training and mentorship to develop future project controls professionals and ensure standards and requirements are met.
• You’ll work as an individual contributor under direct supervision of a senior or lead project scheduler or manager, collaborating in a matrixed environment and temporarily leading assignments or functional teams when required.
• You’ll execute all Project Controls activities defined in the Essential Job Functions, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, manage varying service‑level requirements, meet performance goals effectively and safely, demonstrate SCE’s values and guiding behaviors, and carry no direct supervisory responsibilities.
• Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED::
• 7+ years’ experience in scheduling and capital projects/construction
• Professional experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Visio) and SAP
• Professional experience and proficiency in Primavera P6
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE::
• Utility experience
• Construction management experience
• Certificate and/or License – Planning & Scheduling Professional, Earned Value Professional, Certified
• Cost Professional, Project Management Professional
• Experience in scheduling distribution program projects (30 + work groups of distribution projects) with some level of complexity and requires tracking status of local permit
