THE WORK::
• You’ll assist in gathering, organizing, and analyzing project cost data, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
• You’ll support the development of preliminary and detailed cost estimates under the guidance of senior estimating professionals
• You’ll review project drawings, specifications, and related documentation to identify cost drivers and scope considerations
• You’ll maintain and update cost databases, historical pricing benchmarks, and vendor/subcontractor information
• You’ll prepare quantity takeoffs and develop basic cost models to support estimate accuracy
• You’ll contribute to the preparation of estimate reports, presentations, and supporting materials for client and internal stakeholders
• You’ll coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain pricing inputs and clarify project requirements
• You’ll perform administrative and analytical tasks to support the estimating team’s operational efficiency
• Remote: This role allows for remote work for the majority of your work hours.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED::
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, or related field) OR additional four (4) years of related experience.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic estimating or project management software
• Ability to interpret technical documents such as drawings and specifications (or willingness to learn)
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE::
• Familiarity with cost estimating tools or quantity takeoff software
• Prior internship or entry‑level experience in estimating, project coordination, or related roles
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced consulting environment
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
