The Role:
The Information Security Officer is responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of the information security governance, risk and compliance (GRC) programme and reports to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains clear, current and usable Information Security policies and procedures;
Conducts ICT & Security risk assessments to identify control gaps, recommend mitigation and monitor treatment;
Conducts compliance assessments against Information Security Policy requirements and applicable standards (e.g. PCI DSS);
Monitors assessment outcomes and provides concise reports to senior management;
Evaluates organisational and technical security controls across the lifecycle of services, solutions and processes;
Maintains and delivers the Information Security Awareness programme, including measurement of effectiveness;
Assesses third-party ICT and security risk and evolves proportionate due-diligence and assurance practices;
Supports IT audits and external information security compliance assessments by coordinating evidence and responses;
Adopts and promotes the Group’s information security strategy to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets;
Keeps abreast of emerging threats and developments in security controls and technologies.
