Informatica Cloud Consultant

An Informatica Cloud Consultant is a professional specializing in the integration of various
business applications and data sources using Informatica's suite of cloud services, with a specific focus on Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI). The primary responsibility of this role is to design, develop, and implement data integration solutions that facilitate the seamless flow of information between different systems, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
platforms and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like Salesforce. The consultant must be proficient in leveraging the Informatica Secure Agent to securely and efficiently load and transform data.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

● Design and Implementation: Develop and maintain data integration solutions using
Informatica Cloud. This involves creating mappings, transformations, and workflows to
extract, transform, and load (ETL) data.

● Salesforce Integration: Expertise in integrating Salesforce with on-premise or other
cloud systems. This includes using the Informatica Cloud Connector for Salesforce to
manage data migrations, synchronizations, and real-time integrations.

● ERP Integration: Experience in connecting to and extracting data from ERP systems,
such as SAP, and other relational databases. The consultant must understand how to
handle complex data structures and business logic from these systems.

● Informatica Secure Agent Management: Proficient in the installation, configuration,
and administration of the Informatica Secure Agent. This includes troubleshooting
connectivity issues and ensuring the secure transfer of data between sources and
targets.

● Data Transformation: Knowledge of data transformation techniques to cleanse, enrich,
and standardize data to meet business requirements before loading it into Salesforce.

● Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather
requirements, define project scope, and ensure the successful delivery of integration
projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

● Technical Proficiency: Strong background in data integration and ETL principles.

● Informatica Cloud: Proven experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI),
including advanced transformations and workflow design.

● Salesforce: In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including its data model,
APIs (REST/SOAP), and best practices for data loading.

● ERP Systems: Hands-on experience integrating with SAP and other major ERP
systems.

● Secure Agent: Expertise in the setup and management of the Informatica Secure
Agent.

● Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot
complex data integration issues.

● Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with
technical and non-technical stakeholders
