Industry Analyst – Industrial Crane Equipment & Service

Position Summary:

We are seeking a data-driven and strategic Industry Analyst to support market intelligence and demand forecasting for the industrial crane equipment and service sector. This role is responsible for developing data models that translate macroeconomic trends, industrial activity, and infrastructure investment plans into actionable insights on industrial crane related demands—particularly for industrial applications and service lifecycle planning.

This position is open across multiple locations in Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concentrates on market development, industry competition follow up. Define and estimate the addressable and non-addressable market, and analyze market share within specific market segments.
• Develop and maintain data models to forecast crane equipment and service demand based on industrial output, infrastructure investments, market trends.
• Analyze global and regional market dynamics, including pricing benchmarking in general manufacturing, aviation, paper, green energy, metal, construction and logistics sectors.
• Monitor and interpret CAPEX plans, government investment initiatives, and private sector investments.
• Collaborate with commercial, product, and service teams to align forecasts with business planning.
• To work with market research companies, prepare and present insightful reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Support strategic initiatives such as portfolio planning, market entry, and customer segmentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in market analysis, forecasting, or industrial strategy, preferably in heavy equipment or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., Python, Excel, SQL).
• Experience with visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with crane types, service lifecycle, and industrial equipment is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

• Solid track record in industrial business development.
• Experience in crane manufacturing, service operations, or industrial equipment industries.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational improvement frameworks.
• Awareness of ISO14001 & 45001 Standards.
