In this full-time position as an Industrial Radiographer, based in Tauranga, you will work with a diverse range of clients.  SGS NZ operate in all major industrial groups from dairy, power generation, oil and gas, chemical, pulp and paper process plants through to constructions, building and light engineering. 
What you'll be doing
• Perform specialist NDT checks using Industrial and Digital Radiography systems of existing plant and welds, assisting and developing techniques and processes.
• Provide NDT testing, inspection and consultancy services to light and heavy industry clients, performing various checks and evaluations of both new plant and construction assets and also existing plant; examine welds, plant assets and components, mechanical failures, advising and supervising repairs where required.
• Work with clients on plant shut downs to complete accurate inspections on all equipment using various NDT techniques on plant and equipment and provide client reports in a timely manner to ensure all information reported is delivered to minimize disruption to the customer production schedules
• Work away from home on projects as requested
• Maintain and develop skills and qualifications needed to perform role.
• Carry out all activities in a safety conscious manner to ensure compliance of all SGS, customer and NZ safety and health requirements are met
• A minimum of Five years practical work experience NDT industry practices
• Certifications to ISO9712 for: RT2w, PT2, MT2 and UT1
• Endorsement in Digital RT advantageous.
• Current NZ Driver's license 
• General site safety awareness and training
• Computer literacy
