Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and control systems across plant operations
• Troubleshoot AC/DC motors, PLC systems, drives, and high-voltage equipment (up to 480V)
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and mobile equipment
• Diagnose issues using tools such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment
• Support electrical systems for pumps, cranes, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Assist with installation and maintenance of automated systems, including control panels and distribution systems
• Balance electrical loads and wire complex circuits
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and materials used
• Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Successful completion of an electrical entrance assessment
• 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of shop math, measurements, and technical documentation
• Understanding of AC/DC motor theory and PLC troubleshooting
• Familiarity with electrical controls, drives, NFPA 70E, and high-voltage systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Experience using standard electrical tools and diagnostic equipment
Work Environment
This role operates in a heavy industrial setting and requires hands-on work with complex machinery and electrical systems.
