During this internship you will help with Industrial Design specific concept generation & product development and may create prototypes & mock-ups.
This is a paid internship and has a start date of mid-May and ends in mid-late August 2026.
Job Responsibilities - About the role - you'll need to:
Participate in product development efforts, from the creation of early concepts to the final technical data package release for production.
Bring innovative concepts and a fresh view on military protective equipment.
Clearly communicate his/her concepts using sketches, renderings and functional mock-up and prototypes
Create 3D CAD models & 2D technical drawings and specifications.
Perform First-Article Inspection (FAI)
Required Skills - About you - you'll need:
To be currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Industrial Design (3rd year student)
The ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail.
An interest in the application of design approach to user-centric product development
Well-developed computer skills; must be proficient in SolidWorks, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience in Advanced Surface Modeling is a plus
Well-developed manual skills; must be able to create mock-ups & Prototypes.
