We are working with our Partner, Pitbull Infinity to support operations at Industrial plant and facility sites across various locations.

This position involves work across multiple project locations, and travel is a requirement for all assignments.
The current opportunity is based in Joffre, Alberta, with a projected start date in May. Transportation and accommodations will be provided for all successful candidates.
The project is anticipated to run for approximately five (5) weeks. The work schedule will consist of six (6) consecutive days on and one (1) day off, with 12-hour shifts per day.
Please note that all successful applicants will be required to complete one (1) week of mandatory training in April at the SATO Training Centre in Millet, AB prior to the commencement of the project.
Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, Infinity General Contracting, the Industrial Cleaning Labourer is primarily responsible for supporting industrial cleaning operations at plant sites, industrial facilities, and field locations in partnership with Pitbull Infinity. Key duties include assisting with industrial cleaning activities using specialized equipment, preparing and securing work areas, performing cleaning of industrial equipment and infrastructure, and adhering to strict site-specific safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
The incumbent will conduct all activities in a manner that supports the mission, vision, and values of Infinity General Contracting, as well as adherence to all established Policies and Procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with industrial cleaning activities at plant sites, facilities, and field locations.
Support industrial cleaning operations using equipment such as vacuum units, high-pressure cleaning equipment, steamers, and combination (combo) units. Training is provided where applicable.
Perform cleaning of tanks, vessels, separators, pipelines, and other industrial equipment and infrastructure.
Prepare work areas, assist with equipment setup and tear-down, and complete clean-up following job completion.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, environmental awareness, and professionalism at all job sites.
Adhere strictly to all site-specific safety rules, permits, procedures, and hazard controls.
Complete required safety documentation, participate in toolbox talks, and follow job-specific hazard controls.
Adhere to all site-specific safety rules, permits, and procedures.
Work safely in physically demanding and active industrial environments, including outdoor work in variable weather conditions.
Take direction from site leads and supervisors while performing assigned duties at client facilities.
Proactively identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, and maintenance concerns.
Complete required training, including site orientation and task-specific instruction, as directed by leadership; and
Other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Grade twelve (12) Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalency is preferred.
Previous experience is required working in an industrial or plant-based environment, in any capacity that required site safety rules, permits, and procedures such as:
Oil & gas processing plants
Industrial facilities or terminals
Refineries or upgrader sites
Gas plan or compressor stations
Industrial maintenance, janitorial, or site support roles
Industrial turnaround or shutdown work
Large-scale manufacturing or processing facilities
Familiarity with industrial site expectations including personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, controlled access points, safe work permits, and safe work practices is required.
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test in accordance with client site access requirements is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain the following safety certifications is required:
H2S Alive
Standard First Aid with CPR Level C
CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
Confined Space Entry and Monitor
Criminal Record Check may be required.
Valid Class five (5) Driver’s License, along with a clean five (5) year abstract is required.
Valid Class one (1) or Class three (3) Driver’s License is considered a strong asset.
Demonstrable knowledge of occupational hazards, industrial signage, confined space protocols, use of PPE, and applicable safety precautions as per industry standards.
Ability to understand and execute written and verbal directions in a safety-sensitive environment.
Ability to perform physically demanding manual labour, including lifting, bending, climbing, standing for extended periods, and working in industrial settings.
Comfortable working around industrial equipment, active operations, and controlled work zones.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in high-activity industrial environments.
Ability to adapt to shifting client needs, project scopes, and operational demands while maintaining service quality and safety compliance.
Must be reliable, punctual, safety-focused, and professional in conduct.
Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
Ability to listen attentively and communicate effectively, verbally and in writing in English.
Willingness to follow procedures and direction; and
Ability to work on-call and on a rotating shift schedule that includes holidays, evening/night shifts, and weekends.
