Nîkihk Enviroway Ventures LP—owned by BATC Investments LP and Enviroway Detergent Manufacturing Inc. introduced nîkihk, an Indigenous-inspired, eco-conscious brand rooted in community, culture, and sustainability few years ago. Nikihk products were inspired by Plains Cree culture to offer plant-based, non-toxic, and biodegradable household and laundry products with naturally pleasing scents. Every product reflects a commitment to environmental stewardship, community wellness, and Indigenous economic development.
We are now seeking a passionate and well-connected Indigenous Community Business Development Representative to help expand access to nîkihk products across Indigenous communities. This opportunity is designed for a motivated Indigenous professional who understands the importance of trust, relationships, and community engagement. You will serve as a key ambassador for the nîkihk brand—building partnerships with First Nations communities, band offices, Indigenous organizations, and community-run facilities. With strong earning potential, this role offers both purpose and reward.
Key Responsibilities
Build and nurture relationships with:
First Nations band offices
Indigenous organizations, councils, and agencies
Community facilities (schools, health centers, admin offices)
Present and promote nîkihk products within Indigenous communities
Identify opportunities for:
Bulk purchasing
Community supply programs
Long-term partnerships
Act as a trusted liaison between nîkihk and community stakeholders
Attend community meetings, events, and gatherings as needed
Share market insights and community feedback with leadership
Who is our ideal candidate?
Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit) background is preferred
Well-connected and respected within Indigenous communities
Comfortable engaging with leadership, elders, and administrators
Self-motivated, independent, and results-driven
Strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
