Job Purpose :
Senior FP&A Analyst role to drive financial planning, performance business partnering, and support Regional FP&P Manager and other Group Cost center Owners. The role will provide exposure to the Regional Finance organisation and an environment to develop professionally.
Duties & Responsibilites :
Business Partner to RLT (Regional Leadership Team) & SLT (Senior Leadership Team) ensuring performance is clearly reported and understood.
Analyse, forecast and report Corporate Cost center results to SLT..
Coordinate with the Regional Business Controller and Regional FP&P Manager on the month end closing process including consolidation of regional results.
Coordinate all regional reporting processes including working capital, revenue, activity reports, receivables, etc.
Prepare Monthly Performance Report (MPR) for the RLT review.
Provider of regional data to key stakeholders including VP Finance, FP&P Manager and Regional Business Controller.
Perform multiple variance analysis for different time-periods for the RLT.
Deliver insights on Revenue & Overhead to support RLT’s strategic decisions. Provide insightful dashboards to report KPIs to RLT & SLT.
Coordinate for monthly Rolling forecast and Annual budgeting processes including first review of results and preparation of associated analysis and reports.
Provide financial modelling evaluation and due diligence for any investment opportunities in the assigned Region.
Assist FP&A Group & Global Managers to drive and work on various reporting and project initiatives.
Support in creation and maintenance of project support materials, such as project plans, tracking documents, meeting notes and status reports
Improve processes by evaluating scope and updating procedures with necessary approvals.
Apply best practices and enhance process improvements using Excel tools and financial planning and analysis methodologies.
Identify and address process inefficiencies.
Support and perform Ad-hoc analysis and reports when required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Essential:
Hyperion reporting system – advanced, capability to immediately interrogate and prepare queries and supporting analysis
Ability to communicate complex financial results clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking with sound judgment.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities
Excel – intermediate to advanced (financial modelling – 3 statements + scenarios/sensitivities)
PowerPoint - intermediate
Other Requirements :
Essential:
Experience in developing tools and models to enable performance evaluation and making a real-world impact.
Come from a Finance background and must have experience guiding the business on financial decisions, developing tools and models to enable performance evaluation and making a real-world impact.
Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with multiple priorities.
Desirable:
Exposure to multi-currency operations and companies with a global footprint.
From a business advisory background within professional services or group accounting/FP&A team within industry
Education, and Proffesional Qualifications :
Essential:
Degree qualified or higher
Professional certification required (ACCA, CFA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of accounting principles, corporate finance, and investment fundamentals.
Desirable:
Working knowledge of IFRS and interpretation of financial statements and key performance metrics
