Main Purpose of Job

Disbursement Accounts [DA] Sr. Executive is responsible for accurate and timely processing of DAs received from various Inchcape offices as well as third party agents for Crew Logistic business.  

Key Accountabilities :

As part of DA processing team, the individual would be accountable for

Checking of DAs received from various offices against agreed tariffs of the client.

Ensure all DAs are in line with service requests from the client and checking of supporting documentation.

In case of any discrepancy with rates or supporting documents; query the same with local office.

Complete the DA coding as per set process.

Ensure payments are correctly entered in the individual payment list. Any deductions from local office is well informed and included in the payment list

On receipt of rate of exchange from Global Funding office ensure posting of all DA’s in the Dream

Allocation of postings.

Create Final DA in accordance with client requirement.

Vouching of the Final DA i.e. putting USD amount and arranging voucher nos. as per summary sheet.

Scanning of the Final DA and keeping them ready for reporting.

Uploading FDA copies on ODA where applicable.

Ensure CLS HUB is timely and accurately updated at all stages of DA processing.

Training and guidance to newly joined members.

The post holder will carry out any other duties as are within the scope and purpose of the job as requested by the Line Manager and ensure full utilisation of all ISS systems according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Ensure all DAs are in line with service requests from the client and checking of supporting documentation. 

Create Final DA in accordance with client requirement.

Allocation of postings made.

Ensure CLS HUB is timely and accurately updated at all stages of DA processing

Essential:

Knowledge of MS Office (Word & Excel) & Internet.

1 years’ experience in similar profile.

Good verbal and written English Langue communication skills.

Desirable:

Understanding of Basic Shipping Terminologies & Disbursement Accounts.

Ability to demonstrate a professional, confident attitude

Ability to analyze information from variety of sources

Education and Professional qualifications :

Essential:

Graduate in Finance

Desirable:

Shipping Course
