Independent Contractor - Video Data Capture for AI in Construction (1 day/week)

About the Project

We are seeking an Independent Contractor to deliver reality capture and digital documentation services. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive data of construction sites using 360-degree cameras and surveying tools. These deliverables must align with our technical specifications for AI-driven algorithmic analysis.

We are looking for an autonomous professional for a recurring weekly mission in the Frankfurt am Main area.

What You'll Do

• Autonomous Data Capture: Operate 360° cameras and surveying equipment to document construction sites according to project-specific requirements.
• Deliverable Management: Document and communicate site progress and ensure data quality meets technical standards.
• Safety & Compliance: Independently ensure personal safety and the safety of the site/equipment by strictly adhering to German site-specific safety protocols (Arbeitsschutz).
• Technical Collaboration: Coordinate with the Project Team to adapt to the specific technical needs of each site location.

Requirements:
What We’re Looking For

• Legal Status: Must be a registered Independent Contractor (Gewerbeanmeldung or Freiberufler) with a valid German Tax ID (Steuernummer).
• Availability: Capacity to provide services for one full day per week (currently scheduled for Fridays).
• Environment: Readiness to perform services on active construction sites in varying weather conditions.
• Physicality: Ability to walk extensively and manage hardware on-site as part of the mission.
• Professionalism: Strong communication skills and a results-oriented, problem-solving mindset.
• Documentation: Valid Professional Liability Insurance (Betriebshafterpflichtversicherung) is mandatory.
• Experience: Previous fieldwork or a background in Surveying, Photography, or Construction is highly preferred.

Commercial Terms

• Service Fee: €17.00 – €18.00 per hour (Excl. VAT).
• Equipment: Due to proprietary data standards, specialized 360° hardware will be provided for the duration of the mission.
• Invoicing: Professional monthly invoicing based on completed deliverables and service hours.
• Project Briefing: Technical guidance on specific reality capture methodologies will be provided.
