This is a Direct Hire role with the client
The Primary Pharmacology Group is actively supporting Cystic Fibrosis projects in developing assays, running subset screens, and data analysis and management.
Job responsibilities include:
Performing routine tasks associated directly with the Cystic Fibrosis projects or indirectly in a capacity easing role to support this and other projects.
---- The successful candidate will join a team of scientists focused on assay development and execution of primary and secondary plate-based assays for multiple therapeutic areas.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience with de-novo assay development, optimization, and in vitro screening experience across a range of biochemical and cell-based functional formats as well as cell culture expertise.
Experience in the high content imaging space, high-throughput screening (HTS) techniques, and automation is advantageous and comfort with relevant software tools such as IDBS Biobook, ABase, Spotfire, and GraphPad Prism is preferred.
The successful candidate will be excited by a role with high demands and should possess strong collaborative and communication skills.
He/she should be adept at multi-tasking, integrating biology concepts from group discussions and the literature, and comfortable working in a team environment.
