Job Description & Summary:  

 

Our Value Creation in Deals (VCiD) team is looking for Financial Analysis and Accounting Associate. 

PwC’s Value Creation is a niche team providing strategic, operational and financial advice across the deal continuum in the areas of process improvement, operations due diligence, and organization transformation including actual on-ground level implementation of strategic and operational initiatives. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

• Perform detailed analysis of financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) to assess operational efficiency, cost drivers, and profitability. 

• Conduct thorough market, industry, and operational research to support project objectives and enhance client understanding of key issues. 

• Interpret and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to develop insights and recommendations; prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for clients. 

• Collaborate with client teams to gather data, validate findings, and ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables. 

• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and financial analysis techniques to continuously enhance consulting capabilities. 

• Support the business development activities of the firm 

• The role involves broader operations and strategy remit. The incumbent will get the opportunity to work in other areas including ODD, Performance Improvement, Organization Transformation etc. 

 

Mandatory skill sets: 

• Solid research and analytical skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex financial and operational data. 

• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, such as Excel and other relevant software. 

• Good knowledge and hand-on experience of setting up finance and accounting processes within the finance function of any company 

• Strong communication skills – capable of preparing clear and professional reports and presentations 

Preferred skill sets: 

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. 

• Ability to work collaboratively within teams and interact effectively with clients. 

• Willingness to travel on-site to client locations 

• Additional industry experience of working on plant site/ field is desirable 

• Keen and equal interest in strategy and operations 

• A worthy team (often cross-functional with a diverse set of colleagues) player, dedicated to contributing towards the outcome desired by the team
