Job Description & Summary: PwC India is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer (4–6 years) to lead end-to-end test delivery, automation strategies, and performance testing. The role focuses on building robust automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and enhancing efficiency through CI/CD and modern testing tools.

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for regression and functional coverage. · Deliver end-to-end testing including Test Strategy, Planning, Estimation, Execution & Reporting. · Ensure strong code coverage, unit testing, and CI/CD integration to improve overall product quality. · Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to drive continuous improvements through reviews and benchmarking. · Improve efficiency and accuracy in the testing process by driving automation strategies. · Promote consistency and best practices through knowledge sharing within the team. · Report and track key metrics across all testing phases, ensuring adherence to defined strategy and standards. · Strong experience in iOS mobile application testing · Solid understanding of iOS platform, device fragmentation, and OS versions · Experience with manual testing of mobile apps · Knowledge of mobile QA methodologies and SDLC/STLC · Establish and enforce testing and quality standards across projects. · Mentor junior team members to strengthen testing capabilities and organizational excellence. · Participate in automation framework design and review sessions.

Mandatory skill sets:

· Experience in automation using Selenium, Rest Assured, Appium, Playwright, Postman, ReadyAPI, Bruno, JMeter, Fiddler. · Hands-on experience with Performance Testing and Mobile Testing (Appium). · Experience with XCUITest, Appium, or XCTest · Bug Tracking Tools: Jira, Quality Center (ALM) , AzureOps · Basic understanding of Swift / Objective-C (for debugging & logs) · Security Testing Tools: BurpSuite. · Hands-on experience with Performance Testing and Mobile Testing (Appium).

Preferred skill sets:

· 4-7 years of experience in automation and manual testing with some years of experience in white box testing using Java and JUnit. · Strong skills in Java, Javascript and JUnit, and test automation · Experience in automating using tools like Selenium, Rest Assured, Appium, Playwright, Postman, Ready API , Jmeter, Fiddler etc. · APM and Monitoring tools – Datadog, Dynatrace , AWS Monitoring · Experience in understanding the user flow through API chaining and Postman Automation using java script. · Experience in testing Web Based applications (Automation and Manual) in an Agile environment. · Good knowledge of tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, AzureOps pipeline integration through CI/CD. · Well versed with API testing · Well versed with QA process, Testing life cycle. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify programming errors or inconsistencies. · Should possess Performance Testing skills : · Load Testing, Automated Testing : K6 performance testing Automation
