About the role:

A career in our Emerging Technologies/Businesses practice, will provide you with a unique opportunity to design and build modern data platforms that power emerging digital businesses. We help clients create scalable, secure and cloud-native data foundations on Azure that enable advanced analytics. Our team focuses on building end-to-end data pipelines and lakehouse architectures leveraging Azure Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Factory and other Azure data services to help organizations unlock value from their data and accelerate innovation.

Responsibilities - Design and build robust ETL/ELT data pipelines for Structured, Semi-structured, Unstructured data on Azure using Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, and Databricks (PySpark). - Develop and manage data lakes (ADLS Gen2) and data warehouses/lakehouses (Azure Synapse, Delta Lake) to support analytics and AI workloads. - Implement data ingestion frameworks (batch and streaming) from diverse enterprise and external data sources. - Apply data modelling, partitioning and performance optimization best practices for large-scale datasets. - Ensure data quality, lineage and observability using appropriate tools and Azure services. - Implement security, governance and compliance controls (RBAC, Key Vault, encryption, Purview) - Collaborate with AI/ML and GenAI teams to provision curated datasets and features for advanced use cases. - Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and automated deployments of data assets - Contribute to PoCs and accelerators for new data patterns (real-time analytics, lakehouse, RAG data prep)
