Job Description:  

Design and build the specialized agents for SAKS, with focus on Agent 1 (order intake → discrepancy handling → comms → barcode) and Agent 2 (RFS + PO creation). 

Responsibilities: 

Implement agents using Strands Agents SDK (or similar), including tools for NuOrder, Freshservice, Snowflake, MIC, RFS, POWB, GXS. 

• Design prompts, workflows and state machines for each sub‑step; implement planning, retries and fall‑backs. 

• Implement guardrails, hallucination detection and low‑confidence flows (HITL escalation, re‑query, etc.). 

• Work closely with business SMEs to encode rules for discrepancy detection, brand communication templates and PO creation logic. 

• Optimise token usage, latency and reliability; contribute to eval and monitoring dashboards. 

Mandatory skill sets:

• Strong Python engineering with experience in LLM / agent development (Bedrock, LangChain/LangGraph, Strands, or equivalent). 

• Demonstrated work building production‑grade integrations with REST/GraphQL APIs and message queues. 

• Good understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector search and prompt engineering. 

• Comfortable working directly with business teams to refine flows and edge‑cases. 

Preferred Skill sets:

• Implement guardrails, hallucination detection and low‑confidence flows (HITL escalation, re‑query, etc.). 

• Work closely with business SMEs to encode rules for discrepancy detection, brand communication templates and PO creation logic. 

• Optimise token usage, latency and reliability; contribute to eval and monitoring dashboards. 

Years of Experience Required:

4 to 7yrs 

Education qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E. Hons) or related field. Masters degree
