The purpose of this role involves Electrical design that involves EPLAN designing, developing, testing, and maintaining special purpose automation projects with PLC & HMI, NI based applications and systems. Lead and mentor Junior Electrical design engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure higher quality standards and industrial best practices in place.

Advanced in PLC & HMI software standards and automation technologies

Competent in electrical devices selection, sizing of process and testing instruments, Servo systems, Robotics, Vision Systems, etc.

Advanced in industrial field bus communication standards, Architect for complex process & testing machines.

Advanced in Design standards such as DIN, ANSI, IEC, NFPA, GB, IS etc.

Advanced in CE and UL standards for machine & Electrical safety

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Electronics/ Instrumentation (Experience in SPM industry will be an added advantage)
• 6 to 8 years of experience in machine building industry, with least 2+ years in team leading role.
• Experience in project engineering, developing controls architecture and cost estimation.
• Experience in the build and execution of Complex assembly, test and Process machines.
• Strong design knowledge on PLC, HMI, Servo systems for Siemens, Bosch Rexroth, Beckhoff PLC, Allen Bradley, Delta, Mitsubishi, NI & DAQ.
• Expert in Electrical control systems Design & Innovations in automation projects.
• Prepare comprehensive electrical design, including wiring diagrams in EPLAN and schematics, bills of materials, assembly drawings, design changes, test reports, design-validation plans, and ensuring that meets international standards.
• Experience in implementation of safety standards for electrical devices, pneumatics systems, hydraulics to meet CE and UL requirements.
• Experience in Pneumatics, Hydraulics, IPC systems, welding systems, tightening systems, Vision and image processing etc.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to travel to customer locations.
• Experience in project management & customer relationship.

Flexibility to travel to customer locations and various Bosch plants across India and abroad on short notice.
