Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH . Established in 2009, in Naganathapura - Bengaluru, RBAI is primarily focused in manufacturing electronic products for the automotive sector. RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising – Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Body Control Modules (BCM), ECUs for ABS, DC-DC Converters, iTraMS (Intelligent communication control unit) to name a few. RBAI also produces products for  eMobility like MCU (Motor control Unit), C-Box (Communication Box), VCUs (Vehicle Control Unit), Central gateway modules and is geared up for other futuristic products.  RBAI with its diverse portfolio, not only caters to local markets, but also exports products to all major global customers. Roles and Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of web applications
• Integration of APIs and databases using low-code development platforms such as OutSystems, NodeRed, Oracle APEX
• Requirement definition for digitalization projects together with clients
• Utilize data analysis tools such as KNIME and Python to extract, transform, and analyze data for actionable insights.
• Proficiently manage databases using SQL to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Develop low-code solutions using platforms like OutSystems and Power Platform to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Lead software implementation projects within the department, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Create visually compelling data visualizations using Power BI to support the Plant Quality Champions.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate findings and recommendations clearly.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic by being reliable, independent, analytical, and solution-oriented.

Show enthusiasm for exploring new and uncharted paths in data analysis and project management.
• Collaboration with designers, project managers, and other developers
• Testing of applications (e.g., unit tests, integration tests)
• Align manufacturing project schedule and work plan with reference to production timeline
• Support integration and application of Manufacturing Execution System(MES) in the plant
• Support technical discussions with external/internal departments
• Provide proposals for system improvement
• Cooperation with development departments, support improvement of traceability

3 - 6 years experience

 

Competencies required.

• Proven experience in data analysis using tools such as KNIME and Python.
• Proficiency in data visualization using Power BI or similar tools.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and management.
• Experience in low-coding platforms like OutSystems or Power Platform.
• Solid knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Ideally, experience with at least one modern web framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Knowledge of server-side programming languages (e.g., PHP, Node.js, Python)
• Experience with relational (Oracle, MySQL) and/or NoSQL database systems (e.g., MongoDB)
• Basic knowledge on traceability systems(MES) and manufacturing line servers
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Team player with good communication skills
• Basic knowledge for Manufacturing Execution Systems (Nexeed MES is a plus)
• Familiar with automation technologies (PLCs like Siemens, Rexroth etc.)
• Experience in system operation/administration in automotive field is an advantage
• Knowledge on Web Server technologies such as IIS, Apache
• Experience in programming/scripting (C#, .NET framework)
• Strong project management and leadership skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
