Required Skills:
• Ability to write SQL and analyze results
• Ability to self direct the analysis and development of test plans, test scripts, execution, and management of resolution
• Knowledge and use of Team Foundation Server for testing.

The selected candidate will:
• Serve as a hands-on technical test analyst with development staff and business groups;
• Provide high level of functionality, usability and testability expertise during requirements phase;
• Trace requirements through Test Scripts and results;
• Coordinate and communicate with project managers and staff to coordinate testing work tasks and resourcing;
• Communicate timelines and expectations to project manager, technical, and business staff;
• Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and contractors in the testing of projects;
• Define test objectives, design test plans and test cases for assigned projects;
• Define and measure testing progress with metrics;
• Conduct Triage Meetings across various parties from ITD staff to vendors and business partners. Report progress to Project Manager;
• Provide regression test suites for on-going quality assurance;
• Continuously improve speed, quality and ease of testing;
• Provide an auditable record of test activities;
• Support system and application troubleshooting;

Qualifications:
The candidate must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as enterprise application tester and a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to prioritize test cases based on risk analysis and adequate coverage
• Strong Communication, Presentation & Analytical skills
• In-depth experience and demonstrated proficiency with QA methodology, process and deliverables as a tester.
• Experience testing complex multi-tiered web based systems and complex data-driven applications
• Ability to work hands-on and also provide leadership in the implementation of complex testing solutions. Display a high-level of initiative and troubleshooting skills 
• Working in Agile environment and work closely with developers, QA engineers, business stakeholders in a fast paced sprints.
• Ability to effectively communicate with business clients; ability to effectively work with any coworker within the team or division; ability to transfer knowledge and translate technical concepts to non-technical resources and coworkers; excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently to juggle multiple simultaneous priorities with minimal supervision and keep project manager informed of progress toward goals
• Must have the flexibility to work a regular schedule with additional off hours at critical rollout periods required
• Data Migration testing experience
• Proficiency with SQL database technologies and technique
• Perform testing of web services, web UI, mobile apps, GIS
• Systems integration and back-end (data base) testing experience
• Train and assist the business users with UAT testing

Knowledge of and experience of testing applications utilizing the following technologies is preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but will consider 8+ years of experience 
• .NET Framework, Web Based Applications, and object-oriented architectures
• Oracle, SQL
• ESRI ArcGIS Desktop & Web-based Applications (ArcMap, ArcGIS Server ArcGIS Online)
• Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint)
• Team Foundation Server
