Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Configuration · Gather and analyze business requirements for controlling processes (planning, cost allocation, assessment/distribution, overhead calculation, WIP, variance, settlement, COPA). · Configure SAP CO submodules: CCA, IO, PCA, PC–ML/Actual Costing, Cost Object Controlling (make-to-order/make-to-stock), Profitability Analysis (Costing- and Account-based), and CCA planning (e.g., BPC/Group Reporting integration if applicable). · Design master data: cost centers, profit centers, cost elements, activity types, statistical key figures (SKF), valuation variants, settlement profiles, PA structures, derivation rules. Integration & Data · Ensure seamless FI-CO integration (primary/secondary cost elements, automatic account determination), and cross-module flows with MM (material valuation, freight, overheads), SD (revenue, sales deductions), PP (routing/activity allocation, confirmations), PM/PS (orders/settlement). · Support data migration (LSMW/BDC/MDG), mapping, and validation for CO master and transactional data. Project Delivery · Own end-to-end delivery across Fit-Gap, Blueprinting, Realization, Testing (UT/SIT/UAT), Cutover, and Hypercare. · Produce design documents (FSD/MD50), configuration docs (MD60), test scripts, training materials, and SOPs. Reporting & Analytics · Build standard and custom CO reports (Fiori apps, S_ALR*, KE30, KSB1/2, CKM3N, CK11N, KKAX/KKBC*). · Enable profitability and cost reporting (COPA drilldowns, PCA reports, PA transfer structures) and integrate with BW/4HANA, SAC, or Group Reporting. Controls & Governance · Define controlling calendar (period end close activities: overhead calculation, WIP, variance, settlement). · Implement governance for derivation, account determination, allocation rules, and authorizations (Fiori/catalogs/roles). Stakeholder Management · Partner with Finance Controllers, Plant Controllers, FP&A, Manufacturing, and Sales Ops. · Facilitate workshops, manage change impact, and deliver user training. Support · Own incident/problem management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement (ITSM tools like ServiceNow/Jira). · Optimize performance, simplify processes, and reduce manual postings.
