Job Description & Summary: In PwC, we have realized that sustainability-led transformation requires multiple competencies to collaborate to drive value for organizations. In our efforts to streamline collaboration, PwC has launched ESG Platform that brings multiple sustainability-led competencies together - from Strategy to Reporting, and from Deals to Governance   

Responsibilities:   

You'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:  

Sector Specific Skills:  

• Analyze production and quality data from metallurgical processes.  

• Develop dashboards and reports for operational insights.  

• Support predictive maintenance and process optimization.  

• Collaborate with plant engineers and metallurgists to identify inefficiencies.  

• Risk management through FMEA  

• Experience in CFD (Ansys/CREO)  

• Integrate data from sensors, SCADA, and ERP systems.  

• Perform root cause analysis for process deviations.  

• Contribute to sustainability reporting and energy efficiency tracking.  

• Apply statistical tools to monitor alloy compositions and defect rates.  

• Support digital initiatives like Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing.  

• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.  

Mandatory skill sets:   

• Experience in metallurgy operations, alloy development, and forging.  

• Exposure to steel, aluminum, ferrous and non-ferrous metal production.  

• Programming: Python, SQL, Excel.  

• Visualization: Power BI, Tableau.  

• Statistical Tools: Minitab, R.  

• Industrial Systems: SCADA, MES, ERP integration.  

• Analytics: Time-series analysis, anomaly detection, process modeling.  

Preferred skill sets:   

• Problem-solving and critical thinking.  

• Strong communication and teamwork.  

• Curiosity for industrial innovation and digital tools.  

• Familiarity with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, or TPM.  

Years of experience required:   

Experience: 7-10 Years  

Education qualification:   

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Data Science, or related fields.  

• Certifications in data analytics or industrial automation are a plus.
